Organizational structure: Non-profit Status CSF’s focus on research, training and technology transfer is at the core of the organization’s mission statement. Our non-profit business model, which has been independently evaluated and approved by the UN system, maximizes the use of resources in the best interest of programme objectives while keeping overheads on administration exceedingly lean and efficient. Partnerships in Developing Countries CSF has a proven track record of fostering partnerships between developing countries. The long-term relationship with software development activities in South Asia has resulted in hundreds of South-South exchanges in the form of local advanced training and seminars. Proven Success in Transfer of Technology CSF’s goal is to motivate long-term and sustainable partnerships in information technology solutions for human development by building government capacity to own, maintain and operate their own database systems. CSF distributes its software solutions royalty-free and body without any obligation to use CSF’s services to maintain the database. CSF believes in providing solutions which use the most appropriate technology for the given country setting with guaranteed low-cost, low-maintenance technical support.
