    Organizational structure: The headquarter is located in Madrid. The BBVA Microfinance Foundation is the Majority Shareholder of the following microfinance institutions: Bancamia S.A (Colombia); Financiera Confianza S.A. (Peru); The Savings Bank and Credit ADOPEM (Dominican Republic), Emprende Microfinanzas S.A. and Fondo Esperanza SpA (Chile); and Microserfin (Panama).
    Funding structure other: The initial capital came from the BBVA as grantor (200 mill euros). Any profits made by them are reinvested in the Foundation’s own activity, and no money goes back to BBVA.
