The World Headquarters of the Seventh-day Adventist Church is located in Silver Springs, ML This office handles all administrative functions of the world church. Divisions are responsible for administration of regions through throughout the world . Unions are responsible for smaller regions. The Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada is at the union level in the church. We are responsible for pensions, retirement, health benefits and other administrative functions with respect to SDA employees across Canada. The SDACC has a board composed of members and they pass resolutions with respect to the management of the SDACC. Every five years, delegates chosen to represent the constituency meet to appoint officers. Under the SDACC union office are 7 conferences of the Seventh-day Adventist Church in Canada. These conferences are responsible for succoring the local churches and human resources for their regions. They are responsible for education, church membership and humanitarian and other programs for people inside and outside the church. |
