    Organizational structure: Our Leadership team consists of highly experienced individuals who are competent in their fields. We believe in and practice teamwork to the fullest. For us, ‘the more we are together, we shall be greater’. Our Board of Trustees has overall responsibility for the strategic leadership, governance and appropriate management control of Girls Education Mission International The Board meets a minimum of two times a year for meetings. It has three primary functions: 1. To ensure the organization stays focused on its mission and strategy; 2. To make policy decisions; and 3. To provide support and constructive challenge to the management team, in particular the Executive Director. Day to day leadership and management of Girls Education Mission International is delegated by the Board to the Executive Director and the Management Team. The Board of Trustees are responsible for driving the strategic planning process. This is done in close collaboration with the Executive Director and the Management Team and encompasses extensive consultation at all levels within the organization.
    Number and type of members: GEM INT'L Membership is open to all to girls that indicates interest to the aims and objectives of “GIRLS EDUCATION MISSION INTERNATONAL” As girls remain central in making up the membership, we admit all interested individuals, groups, corporate organizations, institutions and relevant bodies provided they accept and pledge to respect and support vision and goal of the organization and are willing to invest their time and resources for the progress of the ORGANIZATION and to this constitution. We have over 300 members at the moment.
    Affiliation with NGO networks: Nigrerian Network of NGOs, Christian Women of Excellence and Empowernment in Nigerian Society, Agape Women Initiative for Sustainable Development, Entrepereunership Education and Resource Centre.
