Mission statement:	(ATG) 's mission is to contribute to the succesful implementation of the Local and Regional Strategy and Programmes for innovative development by stimulating the creation, support and harmonization of activities in this area by the companies, universities, research development and production centers. The specific objective of the Tehnopol Galati Association, related to the Local Public Administration’s Strategy is to provide a favourable framework for the development of enterprises, research centres and regional economy in general, in order to achieve a harmonization of their activities in correlation with the requirements of the regional market and of the strategies for local and regional development. These requirements are determined by own research, market analysis, projects and partnerships. Pilot projects are encouraged as local/regional trials on specific or/and low-dimension groups so that the results can then be extrapolated to other economic or social strategies throught the local/regional authorities, as well as other geographical areas throught the governmental network. The General services are provided by all founding partners, using resources in common: information and assistance on business opportunities and innovation, funding, legislation and technical requirements (website, infowatch, publications, databases, events, training, partnerships). As a result, the following services are offered by Tehnopol Galati: - Supporting investments and businesses (information, feedback, cooperation and globalization); - Supporting innovation (transfer of know-how and technology); - Supporting new strategies and new technologies, as well as identifying new problem-areas and proposing answers for the authorities; - Supporting the participation of SMEs in EU research and development programs.
