Mission statement:	AIMS AND OBJECTIVES Planning, management, preparation, design and development of social programmes which deal with the integration and treatment of immigrants and refugees and the intercultural and positive effect that the migratory impact generates in the welcoming societies as well as in the emigrant community. (co-development) • Planning, management, preparation, design and development of training programmes in the fields with greater possibilities of employment, in order to help the immigrants and discriminated groups in joining the labour market. • Elaboration of reports, studies and articles about migration and discrimination subjects. Advice on these issues. • Fight against discrimination for sexual, age, origin or cultural reasons. • Favouring partnership between interegional and transnational fields as well as governmental and non-governmental entities, helping the contact with employers. • Co-ordinate, from a state level, the local policies about discrimination and immigration of social organisations. • Temporary taking in of immigrants from Ceuta and Melilla. • The defence and promotion of the right of asylum as well as the human rights of asylum seekers, refugees, internally displaced people, migrants in a vulnerable situation and stateless people. • Design of training programmes • Support to the establishment of training companies • Working Orientation • Legal and administrative advice • Social and psychological support • Looking for job • Work insertion • Fitting out of places for the temporary taking in of immigrants • Preparation of didactic materials • Return projects • Bicultural and ethnic employment • Promotion of asociationism • Social awareness • Intercultural activities

Organizational structure:	The Board of Trustees is the body that governs and represents the Foundation. The Board of Trustees shall be fully independent in the exercise of its discretionary powers. Notwithstanding the attributes that, pursuant to prevailing legislation, correspond to the Foundations Commission, the decisions of the Board of Trustees shall be definitive and not open to appeal, without excluding the possibility that further requisites, other than those expressly provided for by law and in these statutes, may be necessary in order for these decisions to be adopted. To aid the Board of Trustees in its task as the Foundation’s governing body, a Delegate Committee, shall be set up within the Foundation, the composition and functions of which are determined in the statutes. The Director occupies the post of Executive Manager of the Foundation. He or she shall be appointed by the Board of Trustees, on the proposal of the Chair.
