Mission statement:	Strategic Mission: To empower women, youths and children socially and economically to be able to take full advantage of their full citizenship through research, education, documentation, income generating activities and service provision. Since inception in 2001, South Saharan Social Development Organisation (SSDO) has become a viable platform for many young women and men to learn about and explore their femininity and masculinity in a non-destructive, mutually reinforcing and respectful manner that empowers them to exploit their full citizenship. As recognizing that full citizenship can only be achieved through economic, political, and social independence, SSDO also provides women with a set of financial services and tools to strengthen their skills and income and minimize their interest in anti-social activities.
