Mission statement:	The Association of Kardecian Crossed Spiritualist Association QUISICUABA was established on October 12th, 1939 grouping the practitioners and interested in the studies of the Kardecian Crossed Spiritualist, performing all the activities necessary to achieve its objectives. The Association promotes the practice of ecumenism and interreligious dialogue within spiritualists and other religious denominations, and preserves the legacy of their ancestors as a heritage of national identity. Among the objectives of the charitable actions performed without distinction of religious belief, skin color or sex, there is to contribute to human improvement, taking into account spirituality based on the rescue of traditional popular culture as part of the permanent identity of the Cuban people. To this end, the Association finances the Cabildo QUISICUABA Socio cultural Project, having the approval of the cultural entities required, since 2006, whose general objective is to strengthen the responsible participation of the community in aspects related to culture, health and education; in conjunction with the different institutions and organizations that work towards sustainable development. In this immense social management action many community actors, leaders, local institutions as well as representatives of the diverse religions nominations established in Cuba, members of the civil society, and more than 70 volunteers that contribute with the social work. There are closed relations with other institutions, such as the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Education and the Ministry of Culture; as well as various international organizations represented in Cuba, mainly UNESCO, PAHO, UNDP and others that support QUISICUABA`s actions and objectives.

Organizational structure:	In accordance with the Registry of National Associations of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Cuba, under the Law 54 of this body, The Kardecian Crossed Spiritualist Association QUISICUABA was registered according to Resolution No.23 dated on April 9th, 2009. It is registered in Cuba. It was submitted and processed by its Board of Directors in its capacity as organizer, and the ones who made the registration are: - President: Dr. Enrique Alemán Gutiérrez - Vice-president: Lien Lucía García Miranda - Treasurer: Consuelo de la Cruz Fitó. The subsidiaries affiliated abroad are registered according to the regulations that rule their own countries.
Number and type of members:	There are 14 000 members in The Kardecian Crossed Spiritualist Association “QUISICUABA”, Cuba. The number of affiliated in the countries where we have subsidiaries varied, but in total there are 42 386 members. The affiliated members as per country are as follows: Cuba: 14 000; Panana: 5100; Venezuela: 9050; México: 3200; Colombia: 2050; Peru: 1560; Spain: 560; France: 432; Italy: 652; Switzerland: 230; San Francisco (USA): 750; Chile: 534; Ecuador: 645; United Kingdom: 253; Canada: 198; Costa Rica: 3622.
