Mission statement:	NATIONAL PEACE INITIATIVE ALLIANCE CORPS (NPIAC) (PROTECTION & SECURITY) ABOUT NPIAC National Peace Initiative Alliance Corps (NPIAC), The travails of every nation form a significant part of its history, from which lessons are learnt, and corrections made. The political history of our Nation Nigeria is replete with man-made circumstances and events, which on hindsight seem avoidable. The Nigerian nation is heterogeneous in composition, especially given the historical peculiarities of the different Ethnicity that make up the nation. There are also the diversity of cultures, ethnic groups and religions. In spite of this diversity, there has been a strong resolve among the people to live together and to build a united Nigeria, virile and indivisible nation. The resolve, however, has received some challenges over the years, as was manifested in the civil war of 1967-1970 and other internecine feuds and ethno-religious violence. It was a response to these myriads of violence that prompted the emergence of this laudable project – National Peace Initiative Alliance Corps. National Peace Initiative Alliance Corps is a voluntary Paramilitary non- governmental, non-profit making, non-partisan in politics and religion, charitable organization dedicated to the promotion of peace, unity and harmony in Nigeria, Africa and among the nations and regions of the world. Recognizing that conflict in the World is increasingly taking a new dimension, shifting from inter-state conflicts to intra state conflicts. The North East of Nigeria in particular is still suffering from the havoc caused by various ‘Proscribed Armed Groups’ (PAG) such as Boko Haram insurgents, Niger Delta militants and Biafra agitators, Rivers State Governorship Election violence of 2015, which has led to the loss of several lives, property and to an extent, hindered the trajectory of national development. With a born out passion and yeaning for a united Nigeria and peaceful coexistence as a nation, National Peace Initiative Alliance Corps (NPIAC) formerly known as Generation Light Initiative (GLI), was founded in 2010 as a Paramilitary uniform non-governmental organization (NGO) and a non-profit making organization. We are a grassroots advocacy organization focused on transforming how individuals, communities, and nations can respond to conflict and violence resolutions, prevention and intervention. The National Peace Initiative Alliance Corps was formed to increase public and aggressive awareness on national peace building and security conservation issues and activities; To support and conduct nonpartisan intelligent security research, educational and informational activities to increase public awareness of issues in peace building, prevention, protection, restoration and intervention; To provide research and information to foundations, NGOs, Law enforcement agencies/ Government establishment and corporate giving programs about the needs of organizations that advocate for peace on how to curtail, if possible eliminate and eradicate all manners of criminality in our society such as Kidnapping, killings, cultism, Drug abuse, Electoral violence, vandalism etc. To advocate and create enabling environment for peace building and assisting all other security of Government agencies in combating Electoral violence, terrorism and Militancy in our society, also to adopt a network that will foster and enhance one (1) united Nigeria with a platform for prevention and intervention. We are also poised with a mission to raising, recruiting, equipping, empowering and training young men and women with strong passion for patriotism and volunteerism in peace building, intelligence assistance to the armed forces and security organizations in the ongoing fight against corruption and terrorism. NPIAC organize advocacy/awareness program on the need to live in peace among Nigeria's diverse communities

Organizational structure:	BOARD OF TRUSTEES Board Role, Size, Composition: NPIAC shall be run by a 21 member Board of trustees, comprising credible Nigerians deliberately selected from all works of life, having vast experience in their fields of endeavor, many whom have served and serving in very senior endeavor, many whom have served and serving in very senior governmental positions. Including Traditional rulers and Religious Leaders, drawn from each geopolitical Zone. It is shall be chaired by the founder/ National Group Commandant General. The Board is responsible for overall policy and direction of the Corps and delegates responsibility for day-to-day operations to the Corps Executive Director and committees. The Board shall have up to twenty-one but no fewer than twelve members. The board receives no compensation other than reimbursement of reasonable expenses. The Board shall meet at least quarterly, at an agreed upon time at the National command Headquarter. The BOT meets quarterly to evaluate the organization performance and make policies that would enhance high level of performance. They shall also look into Senior Officers Affairs, promotion, disciplinary action and general wellbeing of the organization. Programmes designed by the Advisory Councils are submitted to the BOT for approval before onward transmission to the Executive Council for execution. The Executive Council shall forward yearly budget to the BOT for approval. All remuneration shall be on the approval of the BOT. they shall within their terms of reference and mandate applies without fear or favour decisions for the benefits of the organization and indeed the country. The BOT members shall be entitled to hotels, feeding and transport allowance. Every member is entitle to a PA and guard in his residence. However, the BOT chairman is entitle to Orderly/PA and guards in his residence. PATRONS NPIAC has provision for 15 Patrons, two each to be drawn from the six (6) geopolitical zones including religious. There are two grand Patrons, a male and female. They are the parent of the Organization. They are entitled to personnel guards. ADVISORY COUNCIL The Advisory Council is chaired by the National Adviser on Strategy of NPIAC. The Advisory Council is the brain box of NPIAC and as such has seven (10) standing committees and sub-committees design to strategically deal with all aspect of security lacuna and advice the Executive Council on how to approach situations professionally and effectively. The Executive Council shall execute the laid down strategy accordingly. And where an idea emanates from the Executive Council they would forward it to the Advisory Council for evaluation.
