    Organizational structure: IOC World constituents are: - The General Assembly (GA) - The Board - The Executive Committee The General Assembly is the highest and sovereign authority of the organization. It forms the universality of the active members. Its ordinary session takes place every year when convened by the President of Board. However, special sessions can take place through conference calls according to the circumstances or upon the demand of at least a third (1/3) of IOC World active members. Ordinary sessions of the GA are open to all sympathizing members. The General Assembly is competent to: Define the general policy and direct the actions of IOC World Elect Board members chosen among the promoters Appoint external auditors when necessary Listen to and pronounce itself on the activities and financial reports of the Executive Committee Dismiss the members of Executive Committee Exclude any member for serious misconduct. Overrule by vote any decision or prerogative devolved to the Board Vote on the budget and approve the program and activities to be implemented by the Executive Committee Decide on the contribution rate Modify the constitution and internal rules Decide on affiliation to other organizations Dissolve the organization Resolve the major internal disputes. The General Assembly makes its decisions on a simple majority of the members present and voting. The Board Members are elected by ordinary GA for a term of 4 years. The Board leadership will consist of: A President, Chairman of the board An Executive Vice-President A General Secretary Treasurer General 2 Advisors All the decisions of the Board are made by vote. A projects agenda is prepared by the Board Members and voted upon by the GA before being passed down to be implemented by the Executive Committee. The Board appoints three (3) Executive Officers, members of the Executive Committee. The Board evaluates quarterly and annual activity reports and informs the GA of its conclusions. It may, at any moment, delegate two (2) financial auditors to verify the honesty, the transparency and the legality of the financial records as well as the accounts and balance sheets. The Board submits proposals for modification of the constitution to the vote of the General Assembly. The EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE implements the Board decisions regarding planned activities, and projects according to the general policy and the orientations defined by the General Assembly and the statement received from the Board. It reports to the Board, to whom it submits activity reports each quarter, and to the General Assembly, to whom it presents annual reports. The Executive Committee consists of: Executive Vice President is the first person in charge. He/she represents the organization in every aspect of life. The Executive Vice President: -Oversees all aspects of general office coordination. - Maintains and updates donors log, prospects and volunteer information in donor database, including data entry, recording of cash and in-kind donations and query of reports. -Supports the planning, organizing, and implementation of several fundraising events each year, including the annual ordinary session of the GA. Chief Financial Officer is responsible for collecting the funds of the organization. He/she keeps the financial documents of the organization and disburses funds by order of the Executive Vice President. Under the direction of the Executive Vice President, country’s Chief Program/Project Officer will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operational and programmatic events and projects coordination of IOC World. Externally, the Project Manager will act as the ambassador for IOC World focused on developing partner relationships across the country. -Develop a budget for any program or project contemplated -Inventory the furnishings of every project -Solicit bids for each project
    Number and type of members: Every person approving the constitution of the organization can become a member. There are three different categories of members: 1- Active members 2- Sympathizing members 3- Honorary members An Active Member is every member who will: - give yearly membership - be completely involved in the activities of the organization - Work on the execution of its purposes and objectives; - take part in the different meetings; - Regularly fulfill membership duties; - comply with the different articles of this constitution and regulations. A sympathizing member is every physical or legal person that without being a member of the organization brings his/her financial, material and moral, and/or technical support in reaching its objectives. As sympathizing members, they are encouraged to contribute with all their donations and their ideas to help Global achieve its objectives The title of honorary member is given by the General Assembly, on the Board’s recommendation, to any physical or legal person having contributed in a significant way to one of the actions in line with the objectives of the organization. Any physical person at least 18 years of age and enjoying all civil rights and of good morality, with no distinction of national origin, gender, race, sexual orientation religion or political affiliation, can become a member of the organization. The membership application must be submitted, conforming to the terms of the organization’s regulations, to the President who decides to admit new members with the approval of the Board of Directors. The membership is lost by: - resignation - exclusion - death
