Mission statement:	Our mission is to provide children in the communities in which we work with the resources to allow them to succeed. This success requires adequate education, development of social skills, and attention to health. Our approach to academics is experiential and inquiry-based. Our students are given the tools and support to find solutions to problems on their own using the scientific method and analytical thinking. We believe that this is the best way to develop critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are not adequately developed in Senegal's schools. Our projects our fun but purposeful. They are designed by educators and focus on measurable growth. We believe that for children to succeed, their families need to be involved with and support their children's progress. When a child joins one of our programs, we engage their entire family. We require that parents attend workshops on physical and mental health, safety matters, and nutrition. We provide an opportunity for parents to ask questions in a judgement-free environment.
