    Organizational structure: DEPOWA is headed by the president(who is the wife of the chief of Defence Staff)thereafter the vice presidentthen the Tri-service coordinators/Liaison Officer,thereafter the PA, Exco members, admin, the commandant/coordinator of the DEPOWA school and Skill Acquisition centre and finally the members.
    Number and type of members: Membership of the association is open to wives of the Nigerian Army, Nigerian Navy, Nigerian Airforce and the Nigeria Police Officers' wives association members.Members are like ambassadors from their association to DEPOWA.
    Affiliation with NGO networks: DEPOWA is an Umbrella body for Military Officers' Wives Associtions in Nigeria
