    Organizational structure: The Mukwege Foundation is an international organization established as a foundation under Dutch law. We have a Board (currently 3 members) which sets out the general lines of work. Dr. Denis Mukwege is a special adviser to the Board. The Director of the organization is responsible for the implementation of the programmes and directs the work of the organization. The Operations Manager, reporting to the Director, ensures the daily functioning of the organization. The Communications Officer, reporting to the director, is in charge of all activities related to external communication. The Head of Advocacy and Campaigning, reporting to the director, oversees and implements the organization's lobby, advocacy and campaigning activities. The Programme and Legal Officers are reporting to the Head of Advocacy and Campaigning.
