Mission statement:	Global Action unites those who inspire their daily Action with the ideals of human solidarity and sharing, those who want to think together to develop a social culture that has man in the center of his Action, with his expectations, his hopes, his aspirations, and that affirms the primacy of the person, the dignity of every human being, the defense of life, solidarity, the ethics of responsibility and legality. Global Action aims to: providing knowledge about the world to young people (global knowledge to young leaders), starting from the "informed" knowledge of the countries that compose it and the problems that afflict them; promote cultural and social activities and initiatives that aim to raise awareness of the culture and arts of the countries and inhabitants of the world, including languages and traditions; supporting young people in building or strengthening their global civic sense (pursuing public education at a global level) and building sustainable peace through education (building sustainable peace and global citizenship through education); helping citizens to participate in social life, working for the affirmation of a culture based on the solidarity of civil communities and for a policy of citizens close to the values of growth and interclassism, creating opportunities for commitment in a "participatory policy" ( vs. an "institutional policy" that is peer-based, interactive and not guided by deference towards the elites and traditional institutions; promote the work of the United Nations (UN) through initiatives such as UN simulations, in Italy and abroad and develop the knowledge of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), making available to all some of the tools to achieve them and creating forums discussion to find new ones; promote knowledge and analysis of the processes behind international and regional bodies, including the European Union and NATO; create opportunities for public diplomacy for diplomatic representations and build a bridge between institutions, including diplomatic ones, and local communities; to support and promote initiatives aimed at enhancing the history and culture of the territory, and the fundamental values inherent in our Constitution, as well as the stories and cultures of all the countries of the world. The promotion of the activities takes place through the education, training and communication tools present on this site.
