    Organizational structure: SPOON is a registered non-profit organization in the state of Oregon, United States of America. We are governed by a Board of Trustees, consisting of 156 experts in child care, nutrition, communications, and more. The Board meets quarterly, and votes on strategic issues such as SPOON’s budget, strategy, and governance. There are 4 Board committees, which meet quarterly. SPOON’s Board is chaired by its co-founder, Ms. Cindy Kaplan. SPOON has a staff of 12 based in Portland, Oregon, Washington, D.C, and Berkeley, CA. SPOON’s Co-Founder and Executive Director, Mishelle Rudzinski, oversees the implementation of SPOON’s strategy and leads the SPOON team. SPOON partners with local organizations for each of our country programs. We work with local civil society, government, and non-profit organizations. We have partnership agreements with each local partner. SPOON registers in countries where required, but we do not have local offices.
