Mission statement:	The Association Progetto Alfa was founded in 2006 and since 2008 has operated on many fields and promoted various topics such as: the promotion of culture, youth participation, projects and awareness campaigns on issues of youth policy, quite similar activities for youth information, promotion of a culture of prevention. In 2016 the association received the approval of its Commitment by the European Commission, submitted under the European Innovation Partnership on Active and Healthy Ageing, and related to computer literacy to over 65 primarily designed to enable older people to use platforms useful for the improvement of their mental and physical health. The association over the years has received funding from the National Agency Youth for a project falling in the Youth in Action program and in 2009-2010 started the Endo-Hermes project intended to disseminate the culture of prevention, in particular the endocrine and metabolic diseases for which he received the patronage of the Ministry of Youth and the Ministry for Equal Opportunities. Since 2008, when it was opened to the operational headquarters in the town of Marigliano, the association has now shown a vocation of openness and inclusion playing around trying to make the association a real information desk and listening point. During the years at our office have taken place not only charitable social activities, but also: - Psychological consultation for people in social and economic difficulties - Counseling activities for those looking for work to facilitate the matching of labor supply and demand. There were also meetings with the placement experts within the project. - Bank of time for social activities: project aimed to recruiting volunteers for solidarity activities Over the years we have made information campaigns and on many topics such as: - The fight against drugs - job opportunities - Youth participation - civil service - Knowledge of the institutions with a visit also to the headquarters of the Chamber of Deputies, Senate and European Parliament. The association has a large number of volunteers who joined over the years with the most diverse skills and expertise: - psychologists - Graduates in humanities - ICT experts - Experts on youth policies

Organizational structure:	Progetto Alfa is structured according to the principles of democracy and equality. The board of directors is elected every four years among the members of the association
