    Organizational structure: Structure and Decision-making process of Liberty & Rights Advocacy Organisation: The Board of Trustees is the Highest decision-making body of the NGO. By Article 7 of its Constitution there shall be two (2) levels of administration and management of the LIBERTY AND RIGHTS ADVOCACY ORGANISATION viz: THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES and the EXECUTIVE COUNCIL By virtue of Article 4 of its Constitution: A. The Trustees of LIBERTY AND RIGHTS ADVOCACY ORGANISATION for the purpose of the Companies and Allied Matters Act no. 1 of 1990, shall be elected at a General Meeting charged with responsibility of selecting the Trustees with at least 2/3 majority votes of members present. B. Such Trustees (Hereinafter referred to as, "The Trustees") shall not be less than five (5) or more than ten (10) in number. C. Trustee may hold office for life, but shall cease to hold office if he/she: a. Resigns his office. b. Ceases to be a member of the registered Trustees of the body. c. Becomes insane. d. Is officially declared bankrupt. e. Is convicted of a criminal offence involving dishonesty by a Court of competent jurisdiction. f. Is recommended for removal from office by a board of Governors and Trustees majority vote of members present at any General Meeting of the body. g. Ceases to reside in Nigeria. Upon a vacancy occurring in the number of Trustees a General Meeting will be held to appoint another eligible member of the Association. The Organogram of Liberty & Rights Advocacy Organisation 1.     Number and type of members: Guided by its planned commitment to quality staffing, The Advocates utilizes the services of qualified and experienced technocrats that include Accountants, Lawyers, Administrators, Medical and Clerical staff in the day-to-day running of the organization to conform with best practices. Current Staff status are: • The Chairman – Legal Practitioner • One Accountant – Executive Director • One secretary –Legal Practitioner • Four Administrative Staff • Five instructors/teachers • One Computer Specialist • Four Care-givers • Three Gardners/Cleaners • Three Security Guards • One Driver Total Staff Strength: 21 The Advocates still needs over 400 Volunteers for pioneering services.
