    Organizational structure: At AYDL, we are a youth-led organization governed and managed by young people themselves. The General Assembly, the supreme governing body of the organization comprised of all the registered subscribers, is made up of 99% young people. The Board of Directors, mandated by the General Assembly to perform the policy making and regulatory role, is composed of 80% of youth aged 15 – 35 years old. A Secretariat with a team of 12 active volunteer staff and 5 part-time volunteers is charged with the management of the organisation’s day-to-day programs and projects. This team is headed by an Executive Director who provides overall leadership and strategic guidance to projects, and makes key decisions regarding the management and implementation of the projects in close consultation with the Management Team (comprising of heads of various departments).
