    Organizational structure: Casid programs are crafted according to unique inclusion curricula models, and incorporate a constellation of on-site therapies as well as parallel support groups and education sessions for family and members of the broader community; specializing in fisical, cognitive and social disabilities. In its activities, Casid helps more thank 1,000 children per week, taking care of several aspects of each kid, not only his/her helth but olso the invironment in wicht they live, how the family bonds are boing constractec or recontracted and folloing their formal educational performance. Casid has positioned as one of the most recognized NGO on disabilities attendance and rehabilitative processes. Its staff of teachers and therapists operate an intensive regimen that includes creative activities and eleven weekly sessions of personal and group therapies. Family members of the attending patients are invited to monthly support group meetings and education sessions throughout the year. This institution also has a unique educational environment for therapists, where they lern from experiences analized by an staff of specialists, learning together and interacting as equals. All program of Casid curriculum attends participants and patients for inclusion in the mainstream their close social environment and thier working and educational system. These programs provide a unique opportunity for children, adults and adults with disabilities, as well as their attendants, to cultivate independence skills while their families experience a vital respite period. In addition, CASID provides legal, food administrative and technical assistance to people with disabilities and their families. Other CASID programs are: • Alternative detection and care program for the disabled. • Aid Program for public and private institutions to increase the quality of care by taking new treatments that are carried out internationally. • Assistance program itself, in which our professionals move to where the patients are or where they are to the best place for their care. • Basic Needs Coverage Program for people with disabilities.
    Number and type of members: With a President, Vice President,Treasurer, Secretary, Staff of administrative, technical-professional, accounting collaborators The volunteer network is made up of: Technical, legal, accounting review team, Professionals of health, social work and education to fulfill the objectives of the Foundation, who assist the Staff of collaborators, Network of non-professional volunteers who assist in general competency issues, International team of volunteers made up of professionals and non-professionals who collaborate with the national staff Casid serves a diverse population of individuals with disabilities and their families. There are over 1000 children who currently participate in its programs on a regular basis. These programs are open to applicants of all races and religions. Beneficiaries arrive at our institution from cities all over Argentina. Casid´s programs are specificly desing on disability. We care for an array of disabilities, both mental and fisical, including: Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Fragile X, Angelman, Rubenstein-Taybi, Coffin-Lowrt, and Smith-Magenis syndromes, as well as various cases of emotional disabilities, low cognition and developmental delays, gerontology pathology. A significant minority of participants have a combination of several disabilities or chronic illnesses. The participating patients are all registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs and Social Services and are considered disabled according to the ministry’s criteria; their acceptance to Casid is based exclusively on the patients´ individual need. Demographically, they represent the spectrum of Argentina society; spanning different ethnic and socio-economic sectors; although not all are arentine citizens. Information regarding participants’ familial socio-economic statuses and ethnic backgrounds has yet to be formally collected; however the organization provides limited assistance, beyond official programming, to all persons whose families express financial strain.
