Global Choices is a USA- based- 501(c)3 non-profit organization. There is an operational office in London UK. The organisation is purposefully inclusive, intergenerational and feminine led.
It has a USA Board of Directors.
Patrons include Ted Turner Benefactor of the UN Foundation and Dr Sylvia Earle oceanographer
and there is a strong Advisory Board of luminaries, scientists, development, business, Indigenous and climate experts.
The co-founders and leadership are highly experienced climate and development specialists:
Sally Ranney, President is a Member of the NWF Board and President of AREI the American Renewables Institute and co-founder of WECAN a Women’s Indigenous Environmental network.
Inge Relph, Co-Founder and Executive Director was Senior Policy Advisor to The Elders, including SG Kofi Annan and Ban Ki Moon.and on the UNEP FI digital finance team.
The operational team cover Finance, Administration, IT, Fundraising and Development, Marketing and Social Media. Their role is to ensure sound financial management,compliance with all internal and external regulations and are in service to the program leaders.
Core program leaders cover coordination of the Arctic Angels Network, Environmental Sciences and Research, Arctic Policy and Moratorium development and Climate Education. |
