Mission statement:	SUFFICIENT POWER IN CHRIST CHURCH STATEMENT OF FAITH We believe the Bible is the inspired and everlasting Word of God to man. The authorized King James Version is embraced (John 1:1) We believe in one eternal God, the Creator of heaven and earth, who exist in three persons; God the Father, God the Son, and the Holy Spirit (Genesis 1:1 Colossians 1:16-17) We believe Jesus of Nazareth – the Christ, was begotten by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, He lived a sinless life (Matthew 1:23 Hebrews 1:1-8) We believe Jesus Christ gave His life and shed His blood as ransom for all. He was buried and He rose from the dead – on the third day for our justification (Romans 5:8 1st Corinthians 15:3-4) We believe both the saved and the lost will be resurrected; the saved unto eternal life and the lost unto eternal damnation (Revelation 20:12-15 2nd Peter 3:7-9) We believe Jesus Christ is the only mediator between God and man – the only way to eternal life – without Him man is lost to sin and the devil forever (John 3:16 John 14:6) We believe in the five fold ministries; The Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors, And Teachers – Ephesians 4:11-13. We practice water-baptism and we welcome spiritual gifts from above (Matthew 3:11 1st Corinthians 12:27-30) We uphold the centrality of the gospel and we promote the primary teachings of Jesus Christ – Matthew Chapter 5, 6, & 7. We believe Jesus Christ is the Bread of life (John 6:33-40) We believe He is coming back again and He will make all things new (ACTS 1:11 Revelation 21:1-8) We promote Biblical ethics, the culture of integrity, and we fight the corruption in Nigeria with Bible.
