Organizational structure: |
The governing body of the Association is the Annual General Meeting (AGM) which meets annually. The AGM reviews the activities of the Association, approves the budget, adopts the programme and budget for the forthcoming year, adopts President’s Report, considers motions from its members and may amend the Constitution. Every two years the Assembly elects the members of the Managing Committee (MC).
The Managing Committee (MC) comprises nine members, eligible for three 2-year terms only. It meets at least once every two months and implements the decisions of the General Assembly. It oversees the implementation of the Projects. Its ad hoc Committees assist in the preparation of the groundwork and in monitoring the implementation of the activities. It makes its recommendations to the MC. All the office bearers except the Secretary and the Assistant Secretary are legally bonded. |

The Association has 35 members.
They are managerial officers, scientific officers, administrators or teaching staff at primary, secondary and tertiary levels. Several of them have occupied senior level positions in regional and international organisations. A few are from the private sector, have their own their business or are self-employed. A few are tertiary level students. |
