Organizational structure: |
Our organizational structure consists of three entities - the Board of Directors, the General Assembly, and the Executive Director. Our board is responsible for a number of tasks, including supervision of the Executive Director. Our Executive Director develops, recommends and approves budgets and or strategy and is also responsible for the overall direction in which the EC moves, and the responsibility for managing the day-to-day activities of EC. The Executive Director is also a member of the board - and serves as the Executive Secretary and reports to the Board. Board members will also be expected to champion ECs cause, and represent EC to the larger community. Our board members help raise funds for their projects. EC also has a General Assembly which consists of a group of all such members partners, including board members and staff members. The General Assembly meets biannually, and is held sequential to a Board Meeting. |
