Organizational structure: Affected populations are at the forefront of all AHA activities. This ensures that AHA's Field Offices respond appropriately to people's prevalent needs in timely and effective manner. Each Field Office is supported by a Country office, which is in turn backed by a team based at the Head Office. The AHA Head Office is guided by a Secretariate headed by the President who works with an Executive Board setting strategic priorities and monitoring and evaluating performance, standards and results. The Board is appointed by AHA's International Assembly of Trustees whose members determine AHA's general policies and ensure quality and accountability to both affected populations and donors.
    Funding structure:
  • Grants from Governments
  • Funds from Religious Institutions
  • Donations and grants from domestic sources
  • Fundraising campaigns
  • Foreign and international grants
  • Funds from other Non-Governmental Organizations
