Mission statement:	The principle aim of the union is to provide the defence of labor, social economic rights and legal interests of public and private institution which exist in the system of education, unions, higher and secondary education vocation of educational institutions’ employees, students and graduates. The principles of ARCITUEEI : - Membership voluntariness; - Membership equality; - Strengthening the prestige of union, the progress of mutual help and solidarity in realizing objectives and duties of union organizations and elective bodies; - Being elective of all trade unions; - Joint leadership in the work of elective bodies, personal responsibility for fulfilling accepted decisions and tasks; respect to each member’s opinion, during the discussions of problems the freedom and solidarity of discussions; - Supremacy of demands of the law and regulation while taking decisions; - The compulsion of fulfilling the decisions of the upper organs for lower organs and so on. The direction of the activity of ARCITUEEI: This organization has a right to prepare collective contracts and agreements, to sign treaty and to negotiate for amending them. Republican Committee and the organizations of trade union have signed a collective agreement, 5865 collective treaties with the employer with this purpose. To fulfill agreements and contacts is always the focus of attention of Republican Committee and periodically its execution is checked. ARCITUEEI is realizes its duty according to the laws accepted in our country and normative – Legal deeds. ARCITUEEI has a great authority in the society for providing the defence of labour, social, economic rights and legal interests of education employees, union members who get education. At the same time Republican Committee takes a lot of measure in the education of the defence of the health of union members, their rest. With that end in view the union members who have lost their health are provided with spa treatment, who needs is assisted with money, at the necessary facilities are offered for their physical culture and sport, and a lot of measures are organized for their health resorts. ARCITUEEI keeps an active place in the progress of education and learning policy. ARCITUEEI takes a special position in accepting decisions concerning the policy of education.

Organizational structure:	ARCITUEEI is an independent union without connections with any political party possessing more than 371.000 members. ARCITUEEI is the biggest union in the country. The union comprises 5959 trade unions that here include Republican Committee itself, 75 city and region committees, 25 higher institutes of lerning,42 secondary schools, 56 technical vocations and colleges, 5017 per-schools, extra schools, secondary schools providing general education, trade union committees and 743 organizers. So, this organization covers all education sectors in the country. The numbers of the feminine members is 232115 persons. The leader of Independent Trade Union of Employees of educational Institutions of Azerbaijan leads Azerbaijan Republican Committee of Independent Trade Unions of Employees of Educational Institutions (ARCITUEEI). The authority of Republican Committee is affirmed by the conference which is held once in a 5 years, and reports before it. The e Structure of Republican Committee’s machinery is confirmed by the Assembly which is held more than once a year and the employees of machinery are guided by the job authorities that are affirmed by the presidium. The Presidium of Republican Committee is elected in the Assembly for solving present-day problems during the interval between the assemblies. The Presidium reports to the Assembly of the Republican Committee and it is held not less than once a year.
