Mission statement:	The purpose of Deutsche Model United Nations (DMUN) e.V. is the advancement of education both personal and vocationally on an individual as well as national level. Our efforts are aimed at individuals and organisations which generally do not lie in the focus of educational programs on the United Nations and its workings. These efforts include the two largest Model United Nations conferences for students in secondary education held in German and the first delegation to the National Model United Nations conference for dual mode bachelor students (cooperative education). Furthermore we promote our goals by supporting and actively participating in the United Nations Youth Association Germany, local youth groups and diverse educational projects in schools. Through this we hope to achieve a greater awareness in our society for the global issues handled by the United Nations and provide youths with the necessary skill set to impact decision-making.

Organizational structure:	Deutsche Model United Nations e.V. is the responsible body for the above mentioned projects. The signatory and fiscal responsibility lies with the board of directors, which is elected by the general assembly of all members. The general assembly is the main decisive body of our association and abides by democratic principles.
