    Organizational structure: Based out of Washington DC, UAEM is led by a salaried Executive Director, a volunteer Board of Directors, and a volunteer Coordinating Committee of students from across North America. The Executive Director manages a salaried staff of 4 people - a Development Officer, Program & Finance Officer, a Campus Campaigns coordinator and a Special Adviser. The organization is also supported by a volunteer senior advisory board composed of experts in law and access to medicines.
    Number and type of members: Our membership consists of individual students and UAEM chapters at universities around the world. We draw on the combined strengths of students in undergraduate studies as well as graduate schools of law, medicine, public health, basic and applied sciences, and government. There are no membership fees.
