Mission statement:	Ambiens Cooperative Society is a collective organization of professionals whose goals include development of projects related to urban planning, human settlements, rural and regional land regularization, environmental management, participatory management, the popular and cooperative development of public policies in housing, property cultural, agricultural development and tourism. Used as a method as a perspective of the cooperative organization of collective work, promoting relations more democratic, emancipatory, creative and rooted in a socialist ethic. The Cooperative Ambiens regularly participates in international academic seminars. Recently she attended the National Seminar on areas of permanent conservation of environment in urban areas (APP urbana 2012 – Natal, Brazil), where we discussed critically on the Brazilian Forest Code. The Ambiens Cooperative is an entity registered in the Ministry of Cities to act in the area of urban and rural planning. It has developed educational games that has as its object the city, besides acting as a supporter of popular organizations. Besides the headquarters in Curitiba, Ambiens has professionals in the Brazilian states of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro. The field is wider, with projects carried out in five regions of Brazil, two seminars covered Latin American and international assistance in the province of Luanda, Angola.
