    Organizational structure: HEC is governed by the board of directors which is the highest decision and policy-making body of the organization. The board of directors consists of 5 members which are elected through the general assembly every two years. The executive director and an accountant are chosen by the board of directors to carry out the goals of the organization through appropriate plans. It also chooses an inspector who directly monitors the organization’s performance and plans on behalf of the general assembly. According to the organization’s articles of association, all the activities of the members of the board of directors are voluntary. The organization’s other bodies are: 1) Cultural committee, 2) Education committee, 3) Research committee, 4) Financial affairs committee, 5) Public relations and international relations committee, 6) The Center for preserving and revival of handicrafts (CPRH).
