    Organizational structure: Objectives of the Foundation: The objective for which the Foundation is established are one, all or any of the following. All the objectives mentioned hereunder will be implemented upon necessary permission, if needed, from the government and/or concerned/competent authority and the objectives contrary to the provision of Section 20 of the Act shall be treated as ineffective. 1. To undertake awareness programs on sustainable development throughout the country for sound socio-economic development of the nation, general public and poor masses. 2. To help create conditions for the general public, civil society, public authorities like ministries, government agencies, institutions and corporations at all tiers of the government, businesses, private sector organizations and in to work together Towards facilictating quality and transparent governance through knowledge and information sharing and management. 3. To create instruuments for generation of public opinion on matters of developmental importance and facilitate the exchange of experiences and follow-up of development action by the public authorities and civil society. 4. To create and suffort networking among individuals, groups and organizations through Information and Communications Technology for exchange and management of sustainable development information. 5. To facilitate social (e.g., health/education), economic, envijronmental, cultural and intellectual development of individuals and groups in society throguh ICTs. 6. To facilitate the development of the private sector and commercial entities through e-learning and e-commerce. 7. To facilitate proper development of a knowledge management system. 8. To promote the culture and heritage of all people on Bangladesh. 9. To arrange national and international trainings, workshops, seminars and sysposiums on sustatinable development and issues related to IT-based scientific, technical, social, economic, cultural and similar other activities. 10. To establish virtual libraries, on-line community knowledge bank, and information/data bank for facilitating development at grass root, intermediate and national levels. 11. To publish relevant content as per mandate of the Foundation in various forms of publication (web portal, CDROM, e-manazines, printed form, booklet, books, journals and others). 12. Provide links to or disseminate ideas and success stories, best practice information about development activites and trends, funding sources, and commercial and research and training opportunities through varioius media. 13. To undertake program for research on ICT for sustainable development. 14. To collect and preserve administrative, historical and scientific maps, texts and information; digitize and disseminate them for the benefit of the public, civil society, public authority and development actors in various fields. 15. To distribute computers, networking equipment, sustainable development and educational CDs, books, journals and similar other materials among the stakeholders for the purpose of improving the quality of education and life of the people. 16. To establish multi-purpose centers at village/community/local levels and regional stations in various locations of the country to promote the objectives of the Foundation including local level development in all spheres. 17. To establish, operate and maintain information centers, e-health centers, knowledge centers, community centers, and such other forms of institution, both general and technical, for tjhe purpose of diffusion of diffusion of useful knowledge among the people or specific target groups. 18. To establish various types of ICT-enabled dissemination mechanisms (TV, Radio and other media) in technical, organizational or collaborative forms for promotion.
    Number and type of members: There are 5 (five) types of members of the Society. These are as follws: a.Founder Member b.Life Member c.General Member d.Donor Member/Patron e.Associate Member a.Founder Member Founder Members of the Foundation shall be the persons who are signatories to the Memorandum of Association of the Foundation on the date of the registration of the Foundation or have signed the Resolutions leading to the creation of this Foundation. All founder members shall be considered for all purposes to be General Members subject to payment of membership dues. b. Life Member Any person, after being admitted as a General Member, who may be interested in the activities of the Foundation and not hindered by law or the consititution of the Foundation may be admitted as a Life Member on payment of a donation of Taka 10,000.00 (Ten Thousand) only. Life Member shall not be required to pay annul fees and shall always be considered as General Members with all their rights and responsibilies. c.General Member Such individuals who may be admitted from time to time and whose names are entered in the Register of Members including such individuals who have signed the Memorandum of Association of the Foundation shall be considered as General Members. Each General Member shall pay a one-time fee of Taka 1,000.00 (One thousand) only in addition to the annual fee as mentioned in paragraph below. General Membership of the Foundation shall be limited to (a) the Founder Member and (b) those Bangladeshi citizens, who in the opinion of the Executive Council would abide by the Memorandum of Association and Rules and Regulation of the Foundation and are capable of significantly contributing to the promotion of the objectives of the Foundation and will be admitted by the Executive Council on the basis of a simple majority vote amongst the members present. Each General Member shall pay an annul subscription fee of Taka 500.00 (Five Hundred) only. The fee may be paid any time before holding of the Annual General Meeting. A General Member shall not be eligible to vote in a meeting if his annul subscription fee remains in arrear. If any General Member fails to pay his/her annual membership fee for a consecutive period of up to three (3) years, he/she will lose his/her membership. Within the three years, payments of dues will restore his/her rights. d. Donor Member/Patron Executive Council may select any to be Donor member along any type of donation. They have no voting power in this Society. a)Individuals of excellence on their own or Association or Organization or Foundation or bodies or persons of cminent position may be nominated as Donor Member/Patron by the Executive Council, subject to approval by the next Annual General Meeting. b) Any individual, organization or company subscribing to the objectives of the Foundation and desiring to become a Donor Member/Patron of the Foundation may also apply for the same. The Executive Council Shall recommend their application on the basis of a simple majortiy of votes amongst the members present. Such recommendations will need to be finally approved at the next Annual General Meeting. Donor Members/Patrons approved under this category would make a donation of a minimum of Taka One Hundred Thousand (100,000.00) only for individuals and Taka Three Hundred Thousand (300,000.00) only for organizations to the Foundation c) Associate Member Individuals, Associations, Groups, Companies or organization committed to the ideals of sustainable development and the objectives of the Foundation may be admitted by the Executive Council as Associate Members without the right to vote. All Associate Members shall be required to pay a one-time fee of Taka 100.00 (One Hundred) only for individuals and Taka 100.00 (One Hundred)) only for organizations, companies or associations or groups.
