Emerge For Africa Ltd is a fairly recent UK-Registered Grassroots NGO (December 2012) whose objective is to give alternative opportunities to marginalised girls, more precisely, teenage pregnant girls and young mums with babies in the Mubende and Mityana Districts of Central Uganda, through specialized programmes which facilitate their reintegration and a continuous improvement in their socio-economic position within their household, community and within society as a whole. Emerge For Africa Ltd currently has 3 members, experienced and experts in the fields of Education, Gender and International Development, and is still in the process of raising funds to open its first Educational and Support Centre in Uganda. |
