Mission statement:	The Catalan Agency for Cooperation Development is the executive arm of the Catalan Government of the cooperation Development policies, held in Barcelona. The Catalan Cooperation wants to be an agent of change and transformation and, consequently, has adopted the Humans Right Based Approach in its new Master Plan for Development Cooperation 2015-2018 in order to strive for the full respect of human rights, and specially for the Human Rights of Women. The Human Rights Based Approach should be included in the discussion in the Post 2015 Development Agenda. This approach considers people as owner of Human Rights, that have to be guaranteed and protected. Assuming this approach means to put the people at the centre of sustainable development, as well as consider Human Right violations as both cause and effect of poverty and conflict. The ongoing discussion on the post 2015 Development Agenda offer an excellent opportunity to include the Human Rights Based Approach in the next development framework

Organizational structure:	headquarters are held in Barcelona. We work following the Catalan department Foreing affairs. We have permanent delegation in Mozambique, Colombia and Morroco. Catalan cooperatio works with civil society but also regional and national governments. We have agreements with UNPD and UN Women where we have permanent delegation. Catalan Cooperation is also part of Global Partnership for effective developement Co-operation, on behalf of Oru Fogar (regional governments)
