    Organizational structure: The Council is a membership based non-profit incorporated association with a Board of directors elected by the membership. It has three directorates, social policy, sector services and development, corporate services.

    Affiliation with NGO networks: The Council is part of a national network of Councils of Social Service in each state and territory in Australia.
