Mission statement:	Sovereign Court of International Justice (SCIJ) is a non-profit inter-governmental organization (IGO), serving as a High Court for human rights and international law cases, operated by the independent Judiciary profession, which is internationally licensed by the Ministries of Justice and Ministries of Foreign Affairs of its collective Member States. (A) ACCESS TO JUSTICE -- The primary mission of SCIJ is to serve as a traditional Court of Law for international Justice, fulfilling the following mandate for promoting access to Justice, as one of the most fundamental human rights in customary international law: ‘Everyone is entitled’ to access to Justice (UN ‘Declaration of Human Rights’, Articles 10, 28), as the right to ‘fair and equal access to justice’ (UN ‘Remedy for Human Rights’, Articles 2(b), 3(c), 11(a), 12), through ‘intergovernmental organizations’ at the ‘international level’ (UN ‘Right to Protect Human Rights’, Articles 1, 5), providing ‘access to justice’ through ‘accessible formal procedures’ of ‘customary justice’, to ‘minimize inconvenience’, ‘protect from intimidation’ and ‘avoid unnecessary delay’ (UN ‘Basic Principles of Justice’, Articles 4, 5, 6, 7). (B) JUDICIARY AUTHORITY -- The Judiciary authority of SCIJ is based upon inherent statutory authority, directly from specific provisions of the UN framework of conventional international law, which is binding upon all countries (UN ‘Law of Treaties’, Article 38): Human rights require access to Justice through an ‘independent’ and ‘international’ Court (UN ‘Declaration of Human Rights’, Articles 10, 28), providing ‘customary Justice’ (UN ‘Basic Principles of Justice’, Article 7) by the independent Judiciary profession as ‘other bodies’ without government influence, thereby having ‘universal jurisdiction’ (UN ‘Remedy for Human Rights’, Articles 4, 5, 12, 14). An ‘inter-governmental organization’ (IGO) Court of ‘independent judicial authority’ has the right to assert universal jurisdiction ‘at the international level’ (UN ‘Right to Protect Human Rights’, Articles 1, 5, 9.2, 9.3(c), 9.4), and such independent ‘professional judges’ have ‘exclusive authority’ without government interference in ‘judicial decisions’ (UN ‘Independence of Judiciary’, Preamble: 1, 10, Articles 3, 4). (C) JUDICIARY COOPERATION -- SCIJ is dedicated to representing the international Judiciary profession, by implementing the mandate of international law for Judiciary cooperation ‘at the international levels’ through ‘inter-governmental organizations’ of ‘independent judicial authority’, to ‘provide professionally qualified assistance’ as ‘international bodies’ (UN ‘Right to Protect Human Rights’, Articles 1, 5, 9.2, 9.3(c), 9.4), as ‘international cooperation’ managed by ‘professional judges’, having ‘exclusive authority’, independent from any treaty-based restrictions on the scope of ‘judicial decisions’ (UN ‘Independence of Judiciary’, Preamble: 1, 10, Articles 3, 4).

Organizational structure:	Sovereign Court of International Justice (SCIJ), established as an autonomous Official Body of its supporting inter-governmental organization (IGO) Ignita Veritas United (IVU), constitutes an ‘other subject of international law’ which can fully participate in ‘international agreements’ (UN ‘Law of Treaties’, Article 3), as a separate IGO and independent legal entity in its own right. SCIJ, as a non-profit Inter-Governmental Organization (IGO), has an organizational structure for democratic decision making as established by its public constitutional Charter: (A) GOVERNANCE -- Governance of the IGO is conducted by the traditional ‘balance of powers’, with equal voting by ‘round table’ principles, through (1) High Council of the Independent Judiciary, representing the independent Judiciary profession internationally, governing policies and programs, (2) College of Chambers of the Court, overseeing operations and administration of cases and enforcement, and (3) Board of Trustees managing institutional infrastructure and legal resources. (B) INCORPORATIONS – SCIJ may operate through subsidiary Non-Profit Incorporations representing the international IGO, which may be registered in various national or local jurisdictions, managed by its Board of Trustees.
Number and type of members:	Sovereign Court of International Justice (SCIJ), as a non-profit Inter-Governmental Organization (IGO), developed with the following primary basic Membership body (as of February 2018): (A) MEMBERSHIP includes Supporting Institutions (2 NGO’s) providing Judiciary Security resources and enforcement capabilities, Judiciary (100+ Judges and Court Officers), IGO Diplomatic Corps (30+ Officials). This membership provides a total community of approximately 250 qualified individuals available for active work operating and supporting the Judiciary functions of the Court. (B) INVITATION ONLY -- Institutions, and individual Judiciary and Court Officers, can only become Members based on internal referral, recommendation and invitation through the closed IGO membership network. (C) INDEPENDENCE -- No States are permitted to be members of the Court. Member States of the supporting host IGO, Ignita Veritas United (IVU), are not permitted direct membership in the Court, and thus have no involvement in its independent Judiciary functions, only indirectly supporting the Court.
