    Organizational structure: 3D is a Swiss not-for-profit non-governmental organization, created according to Swiss law. It is registered as an association at the Registre du Commerce of the Canton of Geneva, Switzerland. The Secretariat is headed by the Director, who is not a member of the association. The Secretariat is responsible for managing and carrying out the projects and activities set out in the programme of work. The Advisory Board is composed of all the members of the association who meet at least once a year in a General Assembly. The main responsibilities of the Advisory Board include defining 3D’s priorities, appointing the Chair and the Steering Committee members, and approving the annual report and accounts. The Steering Committee is 3D´s executive body. It is composed of five to eight members of the association. It is responsible, amongst other things, for defining and adopting the programme of work, appointing the Director and supervising of the Secretariat.
    Number and type of members: 3D’s members are individuals actively engaged in favour of human rights, sustainable development and the promotion of an equitable economy. Currently, 3D has 20 members.
