Social Development

Affiliation with other organizations: AMB representatives network through various state and national community groups and industry groups. They include the New York Bankers Association, New Jersey Bankers Association, etc.
Publications: AMB issues alerts, press releases and publishes a website at www.americasmutualbanks.com at least bi-weekly.
Purpose of the organization: AMB encourages members to apply cooperative principles in promoting thrift and meeting the credit needs of individuals and small businesses in their local communities.
Activities relevant to the conference of States Parties to the convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities: AMB conducts bi-weekly meetings and outreach meetings to individual cooperative banks to coordinate the application of cooperative principles in the conduct of their businesses in the USA.
Confirmation of the activities of the organization at the regional, national or international level: AMB representatives and members attend national and regional meetings conducted by various industry groups throughout the USA.
