Organizational structure: |
Institute for Practical Idealism is a non-profit, tax exempt (501) (c) (3) organization incorporated in the state of Virginia in the United States of America. The central office is in Bedford, VA, four hours south of Washington, D.C. Operations are administered throughout the world by staff on temporary field placements and in cooperation with partner organizations and their offices in many countries. Institute for Practical Idealism has a professional staff which managed operations, a Board of Directors which provides oversight, and an International Board of Advisors which provides expert support. |

Institute for Practical Idealism has no members. The By-laws allow for members, but the Board has elected not to activate a membership system, as it is currently not relevant to our work. Institute for Practical Idealism works with volunteers, its network of alumni, and various independent partner organizations. |
