Youth Crime Watch of Liberia is an offspring of Youth Crime Watch of America, now Ignitus Worldwide. As such, it operates in adherence of the structural composition of Ignitus. YCWL reports to Ignitus on its program activities. At the national level, the institution is governed by an Advisory Board headed by a Board Chairman which appoints the Executive Director. The Director in turn recruits and appoint competent staff and volunteers to implement set program objectives of the organization and make report to the board of advisers. At the regional levels, Coordinators are in charge while Adult advisors head the program in schools and communities along with core group members. These core group members, all young people operate under the guidance of their mentors or advisors. A Site coordinator supervises the activities of all branches and report to the program officer. Other key individuals also work along with the secretariat headed by the Executive Director. |
