If yes, explain in detail: With support from the United Nations Development Program under its Community Security and Social Cohesion (CSSC) program, YCWL is implementing public awareness on Armed Violence Reduction and Social Cohesion in crime prone communities in Liberia including Paynesville and New Kru Town with the second phase extending to Bomi, Grand Cape Mount and Margibi counties. Advancement of Women

Affiliation with other organizations: Youth Crime Watch of Liberia partners with Peace Child International in implementing programs that promote the empowerment of young women. Under this partnership, a research was conducted to unearth factors responsible for the low or lack of participation of young women in decision making and the realization of their full potentials. This led to the conduct of several gender empowerment workshops for girls institutions, university/high school students that led to the development of a Gender Empowerment Toolkit called GENDER JOURNEY. YCWL also maintains partnership with Continental Rescue Africa, based in Canada to provide technological and basic studies trainings to young women in Paynesville.
