    Organizational structure: EGPAF is comprised of two U.S. based offices; the headquarters office in Washington, DC; and an office in Los Angeles, California. We have one office in Geneva, Switzerland, 12 offices throughout Africa, and we support over 5,300 sites in 17 countries around the world. EGPAF is overseen by a Board of Directors, which is comprised of seventeen members who provide guidance and support to the Foundation’s senior leadership team and vote on final strategic plans, budgets, and major policy decisions. The official head of EGPAF is the President and CEO, Charles Lyons. This position is supported by two Executive Vice Presidents for Medical and Scientific Affairs and Communications, Advocacy, and Development; and a Chief Operating Officer. Under the leadership of these three executive level positions, there are nine Vice Presidents that provide management over the following departments: (1) Global Business Planning; (2) Program Innovation and Policy; (3) Research; (4) Country Management; (5) Program Implementation; (6) Public Policy, Advocacy, and Communications; (7) Development & Marketing; (8) Administration & Human Resources; and (9) Awards, Compliance, and Risk Management. In addition, each of our 12 country offices is managed by a Country Director who oversees all program activities and staff for that country. Country Directors report to the VP of Country Management.
    Number and type of members: EGPAF is not a member organization. Currently there are an estimated 1,143 staff employed around the world by EGPAF.
