    Organizational structure: Board of Directors Members are eight (8) in number including the Chairman/CEO and the Deputy Chairman. They highest decision making body.They approve the preparation of the financial statement of the organization and are eligible to represent the Association anywhere in the world. They shall render all forms of. ) They shall render all forms of help and advice to the Association as at when due. They are removed from office if they cease to be members. The Executive Director shall preside over all the Executive and general meetings of the organization. Shall supervise the activities of other officers and ensure they carry out their duties effectively and l approves and co-sign all withdrawals and payment vouchers .She directs the Secretary to summon emergency and general meetings. Where the constitution is silent, she consults the officers and take decisions. , Prepares and signs proposals for grants for projects and supervises projects. Works with the project manager. Prepares annual address which shall indicate the achievements, problems and prospects of the organization during her tenure in office The Deputy Director is Next to the Director and assumes all powers and responsibilities of the Executive Director in her absence. Is the Chief adviser to the executive Director and assists the Executive Director in the discharge of her duties. The Secretary is the head of the Secretariat and the life wire of the Association Shall take record of all meetings of the Association and have same read in the next meeting Shall summon all the executive/emergency and general meetings of the Organization at the directives of the Executive Director and prepares a handover note and submit all the association’s documents at the end of her tenure Shall read, reply and file all correspondences Association. Will be subject to the orders of the Executive Director unless where such orders are against the constitution. In the absence of the Secretary shall collect all levies, dues and donations from members of the Association and keeps records of financial matters, document and issues receipts where necessary andl prepare annual account of the Association. She prepares handover note and surrender the Association’s documents under he custody at the end of he tenure and submit all the Organization’s money collected to the Treasurer at the close of every meeting. The treasurer shall receive and sign all monies from the financial secretary at the close of each meeting. She makes the books available at any time the Association or auditors need it.Will give an annual report on the financial position of the Association. The Publicity secretary is the Chief Advert of the Association and Channel of information .Carries information to the members of the Association. The Auditor carries out the annual financial audit account of the organization. Any fraud shall be discussed at the General meeting.The Auditor shall be elected into office by the simple majority of members present at the general meeting.
    Number and type of members: Giwyn Members Giwyn counts approximately 150 members made up of individuals and organizations Nigeria. Giwyn members are local based organizations, and individuals who fully subscribe to the giwyn mission, vision and core values and are working completely or partially ¿with a demonstrable interest - in Advancing women issues. M membership criteria: Local Organisations and individuals must be working completely or partially - or with a demonstrable interest - in the field of SRHR issues in the context of human rights, social justice, and other development paradigms. Have a demonstrable commitment to SRHR; regardless of nationality, class, ethnicity, race, age, religion, disability, sexual orientation, health or marital status. Member and local organizations must not be primarily intended to serve the interests of any commercial or profit making . Member organisations and individuals should demonstrate a non-partisan approach, being motivated by the broad humanitarian and development objectives, which should not be secondary to partisan political or religious .
