    Year of registration: 1998
    Organizational structure: WOPED is governed by a Board of Trustees, made of up three members (two females, one male), and a Board of Advisors made up of seven members (five females and two males). The Board of Trustees sitting with any two members of the Board of Advisors constitutes the Executive Committee, vested with authority to carry out policymaking and policy implementation of the organization. The EC provides institutional and programmatic focus and procedures for the organization in its day to day activities.
    Number and type of members: WOPED has over 3,700 women, children and youth members in her program networks, which include the Women in Secure Enterprise Network (WISE), Gender and Land Rights Cooperatives (GALAR), Partners for Peace Network (PPN) Indigenous Women in Agriculture Network (IWAN), Girls Parliament and Youth Consultative Council.
