Year established:	2005
Organizational structure:	The council of GMF is the managing department and the decision maker of the organization. The council composes of six members, including International Mayor Communication Centre (IMCC), World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD), International Council for Local Environmental Initiatives (ICLEI), Sustainable Cities International (SCI), CITYNET and Cityscape. Located in Shenzhen, China, IMCC is the permanent secretariat of the organization, responsible for daily works.
