4 Focus areas of LOGyCA:
- Sustainability. Logistics activity is framed within the tension generated between the economic dimension and the responsibility with the environment. A first approach in this area: measuring the carbon footprint, in order to find opportunities and define actions to solve this problem.
- Collaboration. The collaboration involves the willingness to share information and beyond this, knowledge, this is the advantage of stronger supply chains.
- Resilience. Capacity that involves more than managing risk, involves having the skills to manage it better than competitors, which is related to the rate of reaction that a company has to recover and achieve the performance levels that it had before an adverse event .
- Connectivity. Tools for connectivity: barcode and electronic product code as the only language to refer to products, services and locations, e-commerce standard and shared infrastructure through collaborative efforts of customers and suppliers. |
