    Organizational structure: Landesa’s daily operations are guided under the direction of the President & CEO who oversees four components of the organization: Programs, Revenue Generation, Communications, and Operations. Landesa Programs work to secure land rights in China, India, Sub-Saharan Africa and through gender, special initiatives, and advocacy work. Revenue Generation consists of securing funds from public sector entities, private foundations individual donors, and for-profit clients. Communications oversees our external messaging through our website, media outlets and other sources to inform our partners, local governments and donors. The Operations team, focused on Human Resources, Finance, and Information Technology, supports the broader organization to deliver on its mission. Landesa’s Board of Directors provides oversight and advisory guidance to the President & CEO, and the organization. The Board ensures that the organization is operated according to the applicable laws and within the framework of its mission. As fiduciaries, board members need to exercise reasonable care in safeguarding the organization's assets. The Board is comprised of 15 members with private sector and/or non-profit experience, and members are elected for three-year terms. Board members also participate in Board committees, including Executive, Nominating & Governance, Finance & Audit, Resource Development, Global Advocacy & Communications and Program Committees. The Board meets three times each year.
