The Board of Trustees: • There are eight in number and were appointed during the general meeting of the organization before it was officially registered by the CAC. IT is the main decision taking body of the organization. • The board of trustee members are supposed to hold office for life except for reasons as stipulated in the organization’s constitution(Article 5, no. 3) MANAGEMENT STRUCTURE This is the Executive Council. Their function is to make regulations which when read at the general meetings by the General Secretary becomes binding to all. The structure is made up of the following: • Executive Secretary • Treasurer/Financial Secretary • Social/Publicity Secretary • Legal Adviser DUTIES OF THE GOVERNING BOARD a. They shall formulate policy for the Organization. b. They shall direct the opening of the organization’s bank account and to appoint its three (3) signatories. Any two (2) signatories shall be valid for any withdrawal. One of such signatories shall be the CHAIRMAN. c. To receive and consider feed-back on the utilization of grants, scholarship e.t.c, advance by the organization. d. To determine the merit and demerits of application for grants, and to take appropriate on the applications. MEMBERSHIP Membership is open to persons who are approved by the Governing Board and also share the passion of the NGO. Our members also have experience in various works of life and voluntarily offer their services to YRAC where needed. |
