Mission statement:	The Geneva Centre for Human Rights Advancement and Global Dialogue is a non-governmental non-profit organisation based in Geneva, Switzerland, which was set up on the strong belief that the situation of human rights across cultures, regions, and sectors is not yet optimal, particularly in the MENA region where challenges, are increasingly growing in number and in significance. For this reason, the Centre aims to place human rights at the centre of governance throughout the world, mainly through promoting mutual understanding and cooperative relations between people and societies around the world, as an essential prerequisite for a full enjoyment and implementation of Human Rights. To this end, the Centre functions as a platform for dialogue between a large variety of stakeholders involved in the promotion and protection of human rights. The reason for which it is permanently collaborating, with the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights, the Human Rights Council, specialized agencies and other intergovernmental organisations, governments, civil society, national institutions, human rights defenders, private sector, and academia. The Centre also aims at empowering governments, regional organisations and CSOs, particularly from the MENA region, to be able to act upon United Nations human rights recommendations in an effective and sustainable way. It also works with governments and related agencies to establish and to reinforce permanent independent national mechanisms mission with regard to the implementation of Treaty bodies, special procedures, Universal periodic review recommendations, and other decisions relating to the field of human rights, stemming from UN decision-making mechanisms. It is by combining the interests of these different groups, that the Centre attempts to encourage a form of an open and constructive global dialogue, which goes beyond existing human rights frameworks, and is bold, innovative, and inclusive. The main pillars of the Centre’s action toward the full implementation of these aims encompass: 1- Enhancing Global dialogue 2- Direction of research 3- Awareness raising 4- Capacity building In order to give full and real effect to these determinative pillars of activity, the Centre makes use of: 1- Its strong external relations and strategic partnerships. 2- Its active participation in Geneva-based Human Rights mechanisms and the exchanging of views through United Nations forums on global issues. 3- The implementation of an effective information and communication strategy.

Organizational structure:	The organisational structure is composed of: 1 A General Assembly composed of 5 members and presided over by the president of the association 2 A committee (Board of directors) composed of 5 members elected by the General Assembly 3 External auditors elected for a period of three years and are independent from the committee composed of all members of the General Assembly as well as of the Board ( as explained in the section above)
