    Year of registration: 2014
Organizational structure: EAT Foundation is registered as a legal entity in Norway through the Norwegian Registration Authority Brønnøysundregistrene. The Brønnøysund Register Centre is a Norwegian government agency that is responsible for the development, operation and management of numerous public registers and governmental systems for digital exchange of information between the Norwegian state, businesses and inhabitants. The registry is a subsidiary of the Norwegian Ministry of Trade and Industry and is part of the European Business Register. EAT is organised with the following organisational structure: 1) Board of Trustees: governs and manages EAT. The Board bears the ultimate responsibility for EAT, and carries out this responsibility through a stewardship role. The Board delegates EAT’s day-to-day management to the CEO and Executive Leadership Team. The Board meets formally four times each year, as well as between the regular meetings as needed to conduct the organization’s business, 2) Advisory Board: provides strategic advice to EAT’s management on the organization’s research projects, activities and long-term strategy. This includes defining research priorities, ensuring the scientific quality of the food forums, advising on new partnerships and increasing public awareness. EAT’s Advisory Board is made up of representatives from academic partner institutions and world-renowned experts from the food service industry, politics, international development, finance, civil society and media. The breadth of the group illustrates EAT’s vision of cross-sectoral collaboration, 3) EAT Executive Leadership Team: executes the operational plan and high-level decision-making, 4) EAT Senior Leadership Team: day-to-day management of the organisation across teams. EAT is further divided into four teams: the Policy Team, the Development Team, the Engagement and Communications Team, and the Science Team.
