GIN has nine formal board members: seven who represent regions (with the MENA representative being currently on hold due to particular sensitivities in the region and the Secretariat leading a membership engagement process in the region for two years as of May 2017), and two South African members who bring professional expertise. In 2016, we hired two full-time members of staff (Programme Managers) to lead GIN's programmes. Furthermore, in June 2017, GIN hired a full-time Finance and Administration Officer to take charge independently of GIN's administrative and financial management. In March 2017, GIN hired a Transitional Consultant to work alongside our two members of staff and Board Members, and she was appointed Executive Director in December 2017. |
