Organizational structure: |
WES a non-profit organization governed by an independent Board of Directors. Its bylaws govern the nomination and election of directors to the Board who can contribute their knowledge and expertise to WES, and the establishment of administrative committees to support governance, decision-making and accountability. These committees include the Executive Committee, the Governance and Nominating Committee, the Finance and Audit Committee and other committees that from time to time the Board may wish to appoint for a special purpose and which may include staff and other consultants. Officers of the Corporation (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer) are elected positions. The Executive Director is the CEO of the corporation and is an ex-officio non-voting member of the Board and its committees. |
